Well, we were booked into the 1st. Sunday in Annapolis today, but cancelled because of the threat of thunderstorms. It looks as if all of the vendors at the art show can thank us for cancelling, as there is no sign of rain this morning.

However, we did have some early morning showers that have since passed. They are calling for variable clouds during the afternoon with scattered thunderstorms, so we will see. Today we will have a High of 83F. and a Low of 66F. . Our winds are East/Southeast at 5 to 10 mph. The chance of rain is 40% this afternoon, while the Barometric Pressure is holding steady at 30.61 millibars. Currently, our Dew Point is 66F., so there is little chance of rain, for a while at least. We had a nice rain last evening, so this morning the air is clear and crisp. I can clearly see the Virginia Shoreline across the river, so the air has not yet filled with moisture. It looks as if it is going to turn off to be a beautiful first day of August.

I stepped out on the deck this morning and was greeted by the Osprey in his tree, surveying the river and looking, no doubt, for his breakfast.
He was kind enough to let me snap a couple of pictures before he took off for a perch further down the river. The Bald Eagles are all over the river this morning, chortling loudly, just to let us all know they are here. We had a little doe at the bird feeder, eating the cracked corn I left the night before. I could not get a photo of her, as she was quick to leave once she spied my movements. Possibly tomorrow.l

Today I will complete the Robyn Commission, and, if time permits, start on the Cameron Commission. It really is a pretty day. Maybe later we will go for a walk.
Today is the 234th day of my "Year in the Life" of Classic Glass Studios blog, or 2/3's of the way through the year from when I started back on December 9, 2009. My! How time flies.
Wow! That came up quickly! The winds are blowing at 25mph out of the South, and rain is moving up the river from Cole's Point, Virginia. All of the boats have headed in as the seas are at 2 ft. Nice storm.
