Really great day today. Here are some pics of the artist reception last evening, some of the art work, and our friend Jeff.

The nicest part of my day, actually, the nicest part of the whole weekend was a surprise visit from my Cousin Cynthia.
What a wonderful surprise to look into the booth and see Cynthia and her daughter Natalie. What a wonderful visit we had. We made a date to visit again at the Neptune Festival in September. Her daughter Natalie is a charming young woman, very bright, very beautiful, and full of smiles. I really enjoyed visiting with them, and look forward to seeing them again in September.

We packed it in by 7PM, and headed back to the RV for dinner. We packed up, and will head out tomorrow morning very early for the Outer Banks of North Carolinia, for our next show at the Currituck Lighthouse / Whaleshead Club, in Corrolla.

Up with the sun this morning. The Blue dog and I were up at 5:30AM to get the truck moved over to the Coast Guard Parking Lot nearest to our booth. We stopped to take some shots of the sunrise, when Jeff & Mary Lou Troutman showed up to park their van nearest as possible to their space. We had a great dinner last night at the Artist Reception with the Troutmans. It certainly makes for some very lively conversation, when Jeff & Mary Lou are around. Periodically, Mary Lou will through out a "zinger" that will roll you on the floor. We really enjoy doing shows with the Troutmans!

It looks as if the weather is going to hold today, and into the week. We hope for the best today.

And today is a "Happy Birthday" to John. We all need to fall to our collective knees and pray he will survive today, as they are skydiving, or as I refer to it as "jumping out of a perfectly good airplane for no good God Damned Reason"! We wish them luck, and pray for the best.

Well, it is time to get busy with it. We only sold 10 items yesterday, and had to give up $170 to do it! That is all of our profit for the hard work we do. However, we had to cover, and in order to get flush, we had to sell something. Crowds were really down, throughout the day. I did not talk to anyone who had a good day, sales wise. It feels like people are holding on to their wallets, waiting to see what is going to happen.

Here we go!
