High 86F Low 71F with a 30% chance of rain. It is overcast this morning with a breeze out of the south southeast at 5mph. The barometric pressure is at 30.05 millibars and falling. We have a dew point at70F. and the relative humidity is at 88%.

This morning Sherry is packing for her next trip to Washington Hospital Center. We will drive up and visit Capt.Bill for a bit. Jess & John are coming up behind us. I will most probably come back with them and go to their house and collect my truck. I hate having another two days without Sherry, but she must do what all good daughters should do.

The Vow Renewal Ceremony was beautiful. A good time was had by all. I will post photos tomorrow.

I did manage to get the turtle heads and flippers in the kiln yesterday for the first firing. They turned out nice.

9:30PM: We just now returned home from our trip to Washington Hospital Center. How exhausting! It was a very busy visit. Ruth was there (and has been there since Thursday), as was Judy and her crew. Jess & John and the Kids showed up about mid-afternoon. All in all there we a dozen of us gathered around Capt.Bill's bed. He is not doing well. The Doctor was in early and ordered a blood transfusion. He outlined all of the reasons that the transfusion was necessary and left. By 9PM this evening, the transfusion was still not forthcoming. The litany of promises continues. Delivery on these promises is lacking. It is becoming disheartening and frustrating to all involved, the lack of service at this center. Capt. Bill continues to deteriorate, and nothing is being done. The entire staff seems to have taken a "wait-and-see" attitude. His incision (from the invasive diagnostics) continues to "leak". His blood pressure continues to drop. His temperature continues to rise (and there is a genuine fear of infection at this time), and nothing has been done about his heart, much less is stroke (mild though it was). On top of this, we have family members in and out and our collective ability to maintain continuance is slipping. Everyone is greatly concerned and working hard to help Bill through this. Ruth has spent every night since Thursday, and will continue through this coming week. Judy has been there all weekend, should have headed back to Georgia today but stayed over and extra day. Billy and Kelly were up on Saturday and will return again this week. And poor Ms. Emmy, she is ten days now into this, and (although shows no signs of wear) greatly feels the strain of weight and worry. We all just wish they would do something. It is as if was delivered him to Washington Hospital Center, ran a battery of tests, and now are just sitting still, all the while he is worsening. We are all generally discussed.

Well, we departed with Jess & John at 5PM, stopped in Cedarville for dinner at the Bonefish Grill for dinner, and than headed home. It was a pleasant evening after a long, hard day in Hospital.

It was nice having the family around today, which really made a most unpleasant situation tolerable.
