Great News! The Gross Beak is still hanging around in Abell! I do not know how much longer he will be in attendance, but it was great to see him this afternoon. Sherry and I are gone until next Friday, so we shall see if he is still about. Personally, I doubt it, as he has quite the hike down to Costa Rica for the Winter. We shall see, A group of Great Egrets are making a home on Jeff & Tammy's dock. They are beautiful birds, and I love being able to observe them up close. We are packing now, so I better return to the task at hand. This evening we go to Jess & John's for an early birthday celebration, as we will miss John's birthday on Sunday. Well, back to work!

Up with the sun this morning. There is much to do today. I have a panel to repair and pack for shipment. I have dig out the old file to obtain the address. This panel is a real "Jonah". Originally designed and constructed in October 2009, we shipped the finished panel via USPS. It arrived damaged and 8 months later, the claim was finally satisfied. We constructed an new panel and took it to Mt. Gretna for delivery. During unpacking, I mistakenly left it propped against the glass crate inside the box van while I moved the van to the parking area. The panel fell and cracked one small piece along the boarder. I am really getting frustrated with this thing. Lucky for us, we can ship it UPS this week on our way to Portsmouth.
We are really getting anxious about this trip to Portsmouth and than on to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We get to visit with Jeff & Mary Lou Troutman, which is always the best of fun. Hopefully, we will find time for dinner and some lively conversation. They always make me laugh. Mary Lou is an extremely talented and much sought after painter, and her husband Jeff is an extremely talented and much sought after "Roadie". Jeff can set-up / break-down in record time. If there ever was an Art Show Olympics, Jeff would be a Gold Mentalist! We can't wait to see them. As of today, it looks as if we will get the good weather for the weekend, with Highs in the lower 80's F. and no chance of rain. We hope for the best. Sherry was up late into the evening, foiling glass, so today she will solder, clean & polish and tag all of her glass. I will pack the glass, hook-up the camper and get ready for a week out on the road.
