Big Day Today! Jess & John's Vow Renewal Ceremony at West St.Mary's Manor. We are all very excited. And the weather on the St.Mary's River will be beautiful! High's today will not reach above 85F and the relative humidity is only 75%, so it will not be too terrible muggy. The winds will be coming out of the East at 5 to 10 MPH, so a nice, pleasant breeze will be blowing. The Dew Point is set at 59F., meaning there is little chance of rain. We do have a 20% chance of afternoon thunderstorms, so we will keep an eye to the sky for that. The Barometer is holding steady at 30.11 millibars.

Sherry is up early. She will not sleep in, as she should, and get a good rest. Instead, she is already up and at it. We will sit on the deck, have our coffee (Sherry's Tea), and discuss our day. I am going to begin painting up the three turtles I cut up and laid out yesterday, so I have them ready for the next panel.

I better get started!

Posted Sunday August 15, 2010 at 10PM. Where do I start? We arrived at Jess & John's at 2PM. The girls all had much to do to complete the last minute chores in preparation for the Big Event. I helped John and Jeff on a last minute run over to West St.Mary's Manor to deliver some beer and ice and soda's, as well as a mason jar which contained some (I am told) pretty good moon shine.

Back at the house we all changed into our Wedding outfits, and headed back to the Manor. We arrived at about 5Pm and unloaded the SUV. Jess and John headed off for their photo-op, while we finished up the last minute tasks.

Mr. & Mrs. McKenny were the most gracious hosts. This affair was a wedding gift from them to Jess & John, and it could not have been a more spectacular affair. The food was unbelievable, the setting was some of the prettiest in Southern Maryland, the weather was perfect and the Bride was The Most Beautiful every in the history of brides! All in all a good time was have by all.

The festivities continued until early in the morning, as which time the girls all headed into the pool to dance and swim in there fineries. We closed it down at mid-night, cleaned up and headed home. What a wonderful day!
