The wind blew pretty good last night. It pegged the wind machine at 28mph. This morning it is still blowing at a decent 15mph, coming from the East. Our High today is 83F and our Low will be 66F. There is a 30% chance of rain. Our Dew Point is 70F and the barometric pressure is 29.87 and raising. We have a chance of early morning rain, and an afternoon thunderstorm. All in all a gloomy past two days. However, we do have a little bit of sun this morning, just before it went back behind the clouds.

I tried again this morning to get the Osprey diving with the sunrise coming up behind, but the weather, and the Osprey did not cooperate. Maybe tomorrow morning.

Capt.Bill update: As of yesterday afternoon and into the evening, all was in preparation for the Capt. to get his stint procedure today. Tomorrow he was to start his Coumadin regiment, and Sunday he was to return home. This morning the Neurosurgeon made a visit to his room, and informed him the damage to his brain as a result of the stroke was more severe than first thought, and the Coumadin could cause his brain to bleed. It was her recommendation the stint procedure be delayed for one month, and Capt. Bill remain in Hospital for another week. Needless to say, Capt. Bill hit the roof! Sherry is trying to get this straight. We will see what develops.
In either case, Sherry comes home today. I will be so very happy to see her! In preparation, I will clean house this morning, unload the dish washer, do the floors, finish the laundry and take out the trash. If I get all of this done, maybe she will be able to 'decompress' when she gets home. She has a hair appointment this afternoon, and will probably help Jess with the last minute wedding arrangements.

In her absents, I have concluded, all of this everyday housework and all of these mundane chores, is why men predecease their wives'! Honestly, I could not make it without Sherry and her hard work.

The doe and her fawn were at the feeder this morning. Not long enough for me to get a good shot. The fawn is getting bigger, and will not be long now out of her spots.

The Eagles (3 this morning) and the Osprey's are all over the river this morning, hanging on the wind. The water surface is choppy, so there are no easy pickings. They are all clambering for what ever comes to the surface. The Hummers are all over the place.

Today I solder up the Pecan Point Heron. It will be finished today, and I will move on to the next project.
