Happy Birthday Grandma Whorl!
The Eagle catches a Cormorant for Breakfast!

A spectacular 7:20AM sunrise this morning! We will have Sun and Clouds mixed. High 69F and a Low of 44F. The relative humidity is 100% with a dew point of 50F. The Barometer is 29.73 inches and steady. We have winds out of the South/Southwest at 8mph. The Sun will set tonight at 6:20PM.

A Bank of Clouds is hanging over New Towne Neck this morning, making for a late sunrise. The colors were spectacular!

The Big Birds are all over the river this morning. We had four at one time in Jeff & Tammy's Loblolly Pine.
One Eagle decided he (she?) wanted a Cormorant for Breakfast.....
...causing the Cormorants to go crazy, trying desperately to not fall victim to the Eagle's talons!
As the Big Bird moves in for the kill...
and reaches in to snatch the prey from the river!

Unbelievable aerial skill involved in the hunt. What a sight to see!

Today I must unload a crate of glass, load up show inventory and materials, move the RV over to the LaGrange RV for a fender repair (from 6 weeks ago!), and finish up the glass that is on deck! Wow! Busy day for me. Sherry is off to town to gather up supplies for Vanna & Maddies 'unbirthdays', and 'Thanksgiving' at Capt.Bill's & Ms. Emmy's on Sunday. It is getting busier and busier as we move toward our departure for Florida.
Great News! The Nuthatch has returned. I have a pair in the Cedar Tree outside my studio door! In addition, an immature Red-Tailed Hawk landed in the Pecan Tree above the studio while I was trying to get a photo of the Nuthatch.
