Up late this morning. Still recovering from a draining weekend. The temperatures are really cool this morning, with a Low in the 40's. The High was in the mid to low 60's. Winds blew all day steady at 25mph with gusts to 35mph! It feels as if we are deep in October rather than mid-May!

I have finished cutting, fitting and grinding a new Comet in Blue Ice, and another in Pink Ice with a vit SI100V surround glass. I will foil much of this panel tonight. Sherry is busy with shells, and warm glass torso's at the rate of one every 8 hours.

The Bronze Headed Cowbird is all over the feeders. I would dispatch it but...
...the mallards are camped out under the feeders, and I would hate to frighten them away with a shot gun blast.
The teal blue on the hen's wings is stunning.
The Mallards enjoy a little fresh water to go with their grain. The drake keeps watch as the hen eats and drinks to her hearts content.
