Happy Mothers Day Mom, where ever you are. It got pretty cold last night here in Portsmouth. We had a Low of 45F. The High today is predicted to go only up to 68F. We actually tried the heater this morning. It was really nice to just hit a switch, and volia! Heat! Now, after coffee, it is off to the show!

The Blue Dog, who is always a big hit at the show, gets a wet kiss from a very pretty little girl. The Blue Dog loves to smell baby's breath!

Ann Marie & Jason enjoying the beautiful weather. The wind has laid down, the temperatures are still cool, but the crowds are defiantly on the increase.

This young lady gets the "Most Crazy Hat at an Art Festival" award. I asked her if she would "Bison" of my art. (She thought my joke was stupid. How can anyone wear a hat like that and criticize someone else's jokes?).
Here is another photo of someone taking a photo of my (in this case, Sherry's) work. I should frame these and try to sell them. I wonder if people would walk up and take a photo of my photos of people taking photos? I have to try this now.
The Blue Dog at the end of the day, anxious to close up shop, and head back to the barn.
RV check guy, going through the Hampton Bridge Tunnel. You have to stop and let them check over the RV. Always a nice experience. These are the most pleasant people. He wished Sherry the "...Happiest of Mothers Days, Lovely Lady...", which we both agreed was very kind.

So as the sun sets over the James River, and a cold wind blows from the north across the Chesapeake Bay, we say good-bye to Portsmouth, Virginia. All-in-all a good Gosport.
