Leather back Turtle; painted, silver stained and kiln fired. Set in Spectrum cobalt blue surround glass with amber silver stained bevels, dichroic glass accent bevels, and Wissmach kelp & sand. It turned out just the way I wanted it.

Low this morning was58F. High today was 78F. The wind has laid down, and no rain made it in. Here are a few of the over two dozen birds I spotted today:

The male Blue Grossbeak
The Eastern Bluebird;
Osprey;
The Bronze Headed Cowbird
Cardnial
Female Bronze Headed Cowbird;
Carolina Chickadee;
Red-Bellied Woodpecker
Tufted Titmouse
and a Female Blue Grossbeak.

In addition, I saw crows, grackles, vultures, eagles, herring gulls, cormorants, laughing gulls, blue herons, barn swallows, and a number of warblers that I could not specie (they are too fast, and will not sit still).

All of the glass is packed, and the trailer is hooked up and ready to go. The stock market dropped over 300 points this afternoon (it dropped over 1000 points in less that 5 minutes, but recovered much of its' losses). This will effect the festival this weekend. Oh well, as long as the mess in Europe (Greece) doesn't make its' way across the Ocean, we might be all right.
