Yesterday was rain rain rain all day long. The show was called at 2PM as a result. We did OK buy not nearly what we would normally do here on a good day.We packed it in by 3PM. Sherry cooked a really good meal, than we took a walk in town for some Kings Ice Cream (for The Blue Dog), stopped by The Chocolate Shop, and finished up at the pet store where a (Sherry's words here) "way gay" proprietor fell madly in love with Blue, and tried (without success) to feed her "doggie treats". Blue was allowed to pick out her own bone (from the many different "bone bins") which we returned home with. She seemed to have a good time. I continued work on foiling bevels. We shut it down at about 8:30PM, all of us exhausted from a 5AM wake-up / set-up, and an energy zapping rain day.

This morning I was awake by 5:30AM. so another early night tonight. We have to pack up the display today, and ready the truck for our trip to Wall, NJ tomorrow. We meet the Ferry first thing in the morning. It should be a fun day. As for today, once we get packed, I intend foiling the remaining bevels (I have 4 boxes completed thus far). No doubt a trip to the Outlet Malls is in order. The weather looks great. The Low this morning is 70F., and the High today is predicted to reach in to the mid to upper 80'sF., with clear skies.

We had everything packed up by 10AM., before it got to hot to go out in it. We came back to the trailer and opened up the deck, where I set up shop and started foiling bevels. Sherry was off to town on her bike to pick up some ice and sandwiches for lunch. I discovered www.hulu.com last week, which is a great source for informative videos and full length movies. I put on "Origins of Life" and began foiling. Sherry returned around noon and we had lunch while we discussed our Rainbow Glass order. I went back on line and put in for the additional items ($2600.00 total). This amount in addition to the original order is going to place the total above $6K. This should hold us until sometime in the beginning of the year. It is risky business. Our funds are officially depleted once this order is paid for. We have commissions, so hopefully we will survive. Time will tell.

After lunch Sherry went out again with the Blue Dog for a walk around town. She and Blue came back parched and over heated from their walk, so we closed up the RV and turned on the AC.

At 7PM Sherry and Blue became restless, and wanted another walk around town, so we headed down to the Lewes Canal Park. This is really a lovely town. the streets are well manicured, with potted flowers and street lights. The houses are quint, the yards well kept, and there is an air of small town friendliness. We enjoyed ourselves immensely during our last three weekends here, and highly recommend it if you are ever in the area.
The Blue Dog takes a break on the Canal Walkway.
The Light Ship "Overfalls" sits idle in dock . A beautiful addition to the Park. Towns folks walk the Promenade while a softball team plays on the adjacent athletic field. They have basketball, tennis, and softball here. This is one of the nicest public parks we have seen.

And what Park would be complete without Old Glory displayed proudly for all to see? This is a great little town. If ever you have the chance, come visit Lewes, Delaware. You won't be disappointed.
