So here is what $7800.00 worth stained glass supplies looks like. 82 sheets of glass, 7 gal. of patina, 1 gal. of flux remover, 1 gal. of glass cleaner, 48-8oz bottles of gelflux, 100 lbs. of solder, two cases of kame, 205 rolls of copper foil, over 2500 bevels, 6 solder heads, 1 solder iron, two dozen fids, two dozen flux brushes, and various other sundry items. This took most of the day to off load, check off the manifest, and get stored away for use at a later date. Whew! what a job in this heat. Well, it is done. Tomorrow, I will unload the RV and start on glass.
Some big Thunder Boomers are making their way through the area tonight. I can see that it is raining on the Virginia side of the river. We can only hope that the storms come in, stay awhile, and dump a lot of rain. We need it. We closed everything up at 6PM (by all accounts, an early night) once it started thundering. Sherry cooked a nice meal of stir fry and brown rice. Now we will shut down the studios, and enjoy an early evening watching TV and listening to the rain soak the parched earth. Tomorrow: Glass glass glass!!!
