The Papaya's continue to set fruit while the Angle Trumpeter is in full bloom. It is doubtful if these blooms are going to survive this weeks cold. We will string Christmas lights today on all for the most vulnerable plants, but it is impossible to protect everything. The creek is up, and the water helps to add some warmth to the air (but only for the plants along the bank). The live oaks add some cover to many of the plantings, but if the temperature drops below 30F, they will be of no help.
