It only reached a low of 34F last night. We had a little cloud cover that was able to hold in some of the heat, and prevent us from freezing. Tonight it is predicted to go down to the low 30's upper 20's, so we are not out of the woods yet. Today I will take the Merrick Panel to the next phase, the final fitting and sizing of the panel. This is a critical step in the process. If the panel is too large, and will not fit the opening, we will have a big problem! I will contact the Merrick's via email with photos of the resized panel, as it will appear finished. Once approved, I will begin reinforcing and soldering up the final product. Sherry will be replacing inventory sold at Las Olas. But before any of that happens, we will have uncover all our plants, and put away the coverings until late this afternoon. By around 4PM today the entire process of "covering up" will be repeated. Hopefully, it will be for the last time this year. We received a large order of bevels yesterday. We will have to inventory them, and get them shelved. Also today, show filings are due for next month. There is always something that has little or nothing to do with making glass! How I long for an Art Patron!
