Well, here it is. Number 203 (204?). The Hudsonian Godwit. This is a really nice campground. Situated on the Indian River Inlet, with the river to our north, the ocean to our east, a large salt marsh to our south and the Indian River Bay to our west, this is a prolific birding area. I was thrilled to get this Godwit. There are many shore birds here in the marsh, but this one is a real prize.
Sherry and the Blue Dog stop along the jetty for a picture, and to enjoy the scenery.
Sherry stopped along the quay that runs along the inlet for a shot of the North Shore.
The camp sites are large and clean. We are right on the marsh!
And The Blue Dog is enjoying a dip in the Atlantic Ocean!
