We got up late this morning, 7:30AM, pretty beat from a demanding show. A big buck hit our RV on the way in last night. The beast came off the bank at Hill Top. I saw him coming and, as Sherry was following closely behind, I tried to time it so he would not hit me, but would not slam into her either. The next best thing was to slam into the RV. And so, first I sped up, and than I tapped my brakes and went over to the shoulder of the road. Sure enough he ran right into the side of the RV. The impact broke the wheel cover, and spread deer feces down the side of the trailer. All in all, not a bad thing, given the damage that could have been done to Sherry's little KIA.
This morning has been busy. I closed out the Alexandria Art Festival job, placed a material order with our NJ supplier, ordered business cards and promotional materials from our printer, ordered nautilus shells from our West Coast Supplier, and contacted a client on a check typo. Sherry cleaned house, straightened the camper, called the insurance company, and paid bills. Between the bills and the material orders, we should have burned through what we made this week, but we will be set for the rest of the month. Now if the weather will only hold for this weekend.
The time has come to shut this down, and get to work on inventory replacement. This is going to be a big week.
Wow. I just finished up at 9PM. Sherry is still foiling. She never quits. The Insurance Appraiser came by today, and inspected the RV. I guess we will see. Capt.Bill & Ms. Emmy came over today. Bill has a Dr. appointment tomorrow. They depart at 5am on Saturday for Leah's wedding. It sounds like great fun, but we will miss the party, due to our art show at AnnMarie Gardens.
Well, I am beat. Time to shower and hit the hay. Until tomorrow...
